After my husband had just spotted a gorgeous Prairie Rattlesnake in our path, I look down with my miserable eyesight and find an Arrowhead while on a hike in Fremont County Colorado near Canon City and the Royal Gorge. Hilariously, I freak out as if a golden nugget was found. Unleashing a record amount of F-bombs, my apologies in advance. I made myself wait and pick it up after I let Tim, who'd walked past it, turn around and find it for himself. He then made me wait again as he took out the phone to record my reaction... Which as I said is somewhat excited. I cant wait to get back out for another hike. There is so much to be seen and maybe found... I'll be taking this with me to the local historical society very soon. I'm beyond anxious to hear what they have to say about this beautiful Native American artifact
