A cool video has emerged of a medieval combat competition in Montbazon, France.

The footage was shot at the Faucon Noir Fortress in Central France during the Black Hawk full contact medieval combat tournament earlier this month. The video shows from a first person point of view modern day men of the Aquila Sequania team dressed as knights from the Middle Ages fighting with historically appropriate metal weaponry.

The eight-century old sport unites every year participants from 25 countries for the Battle of the Nation which was held in Croatia this year.
