An expatriate living in Bali had had enough of people driving their mopeds on the pavement and risking pedestrian safety, so he decided to have a word with them.

The pavement vigilante filmed himself stopping moped riders on the pavement. He says, "Hello, I'm a pedestrian. I think I have the right to be safe on the pavement," varying between Bahasa, English and French depending on the driver. Most appear taken aback by the vigilante, with many simply dismissing him.

According to him, the pavement hoggers are holidaymakers who rent bikes, expats and locals who ride on the walkway.

He added: ''People ride on the sidewalk all day long, every day. Why can't we be safe on the sidewalk, I've had a lot of threats after I filmed these people.''
