Residents in Reedsburg, Sauk County watched as the Baraboo River continued to overflow on August 29, pouring on to roads and causing major disruption to traffic.

This video, shared to Facebook by Michelle Jackels, shows the situation along East Main Street. Along the bridge, cars are seen driving through water that had burst out of the river.

According to local media, authorities closed the bridge to traffic at around 6 pm.

No evacuations have been ordered, but a Red Cross emergency center has been set up to help families affected by the flooding. City administrator Stephen Compton said authorities are keeping an eye on the river, with public works and police department analyzing the river gauge every hour and taking manual records on the bridge at Main Street.
