In late Arpil/ early May of 2018 our next door neighbours had a waterpipe burst inside their kitchen. the water was left to seep through the kitchen wall into there back garden. which then began to soak through the dividing wall that seperates the two properties casuing damage to our home. I live with my dissabled mother.

the water then flowed through the wall causing damage to the mortar itself, then flowed across our front garden going infront of our front door onto the front lawn flooding the ground which in turn attacted flying insects which then proceeded to linger outside until the water had dried up. The leak was finally repaired in the month of Jun 2018 but by then the water had also soaked through the wall of our leantoo which faces their back door. the water had then started to seep inside and along the floor to the kitchen door which leads into the leantoo, spawning mold onto the walls, we tried many times to try and make them aware of the situation politely, but when we knocked on the door they either pretended to be out or when they answered the reply they gave was "me no no, sorry no" and closed the door. i informed one of the tennants of the rented house next to ours which is owned by a different landlord that our landlady had offered to send in her repairman who is a qualified and experienced plumber into their home to locate and fix the leak if they would let im into the home. but the answer i was given was a blunt "sorry, no" .

the leak has been repaired, however we are still dealing with the smell of damp and mold.
