Lines for gas stretched for blocks in capital city Sapporo after a 6.7-magnitude earthquake struck Hokkaido, Japan's northernmost island, on September 6.

This video, filmed by Enson Inoue the same day, shows a long line of vehicles queuing for gas.

The earthquake hit at around 3 am local time, causing a series of landslides and cutting power to all 2.95 million homes in the prefecture.

Forecasts warn that heavy rain is expected on Friday (September 7), which could trigger more landslides.

This is the second major natural disaster to hit Japan in days. Typhoon Jebi, which made landfall on Tuesday in the Kansai region, left at least 11 dead and 600 injured.
