Restaurant offers pregnant woman £200 to abort baby after she finds dead mouse in hot pot
This is the shocking moment a pregnant woman discovered a dead mouse in a hot pot while dining in a restaurant in eastern China.
In the video, the baby mouse - very much dead and rather cooked - is taken out of a pot of soup at the restaurant Xiabu Xiabu in Weifang City last Thursday.
According to reports, the mother-to-be, named locally as Ms. Gao, found the mouse in the soup when she was having dinner with her husband Mr. Ma.
Ma informed the staff immediately and one staff member reportedly offered them more than £200 to abort their baby as they were worried about its health.
Local authorities were investigating the case, reports said.
