Beast from the east hits Allendale. Removing snow from the car.
The Beast from the East mixed with Storm Emma caused widespread disruption across parts of the UK during late February and early March 2018. The Met Office issued a red weather warning, schools where closed and drivers found it almost impossible to get to work due to blocked roads.
Being the weather enthusiast I am, I was out and about with my camera, over the unseasonal weather, capturing the storm during all stages of its disruptive path. From combining this footage I have produced an amateur home video reporting what it was like in my home town of Allendale, Northumberland.
In this video we remove the snow from the car and see how deep it is.
