Bald eagle with heron flies off to fetch mate
Bald eagle with a fresh heron kill on Iona beach in Richmond BC Canada - terrific wildlife watching encounter - a bit gory for some maybe but this is what nature is all about - survival! I have a full 25 minute video of the entire encounter on my YouTube channel if you're interested! Here the male makes the kill and eats some of the organs - he then flies off and a few minutes later his mate arrives to feast on the remains! It was very exciting to watch!
