India's dancing traffic cop has got some moves
Pratap Chandra Khadwal has become a local celebrity in the town of Bhubaneswar in the Indian state of Odisha, although most people know him only as "The Dancing Traffic Cop."
In his four years working with the traffic police, Pratap has developed a distinctive style of directing traffic at one of the city's busiest junctions.
He bobs and weaves amid the rush hour madness, combining dance moves, whistles and other gestures to keep traffic flowing smoothly.
Despite earning only 9,000 Indian Rupees a month (about 4 US dollars per day) working for the Home Guard, Pratap's obvious enthusiasm for the job has made him a much-loved local character.
