The view from the top of the Forth Bridge in Edinburgh

The video was taken at 7.30am this morning, Saturday 15th September from the top of the World Heritage site of the Forth Bridge (the rail bridge) at North and South Queensferry near Edinburgh. The ascent up to the top was in order to raise funds for a fantastic charity - Barnardos which supports children and young people in need of support.

The video shows the amazing cantilever structure of the famous red spans as the River Forth flows beneath. The video also looks West towards the Forth Road Bridge and the new Queensferry Bridge.

This year's event is known as YourView18 and it only happens on two weekends a year so it is a rare privilege to get on top of the structure.
