Bashed up white shark gets up close to GoPro to show off its wounds
This filmer caught the sight of a rather injured shark on her GoPro during a dive off South Cape in South Africa.
The video, taken on August 20, shows the shark coming up close to the camera, giving a full view of the marks and scratches on its body.
"The worst injury seems to be to the corner of its mouth. It gets very close to the GoPro so you can see the nasty wound and the parasites hanging off of it," the filmer said.
Wire indents can also be seen on both sides of its body.
"I don't know how this white shark got so messed up, but it's certainly been through the wars."
