Storm Ali M6
Travelling on the M6 motorway northbound in Storm Ali when a truck is pushed over by the wind.
It took a few hours from when the video was filmed to the recovery truck getting there to drag it off the fast lane to allow traffic to move.
4 traffic police and 2 fire engines came. 1 highways truck with diversion stuff on and big wrecker recovery truck.
Luckily no one was injured.
It was a boughey truck - that's the company – and it did not have a load – that’s why it overturned. It’s far too windy to put back on its wheels as its in middle of the bridge and empty.
They will need to wait in a break in the weather before attempting to put the lorry on its wheels
