Miracle on Beehive Lane as Storm Bronagh rips off massive branch

Buy video

A MASSIVE branch was ripped down by Storm Bronagh from a towering tree on leafy Beehive Lane, Chelmsford, in the early hours of Friday, September 21, 2018.

The branch avoided the road and the adjacent pathway by inches - nobody hear it fall.

One neighbour told Newsflare: "It was a miracle it happened in the early hours when most people were asleep."

The gash made by the falling branch on the trunk appeared to indicate it was suffering some kind of disease and an adjoining branch which could have similar problems can be seen right above a car parked on near the driveway of the nearest home.
