Terrifying sharks chase a massive shoal of herring in Douglas Bay, Isle of Man off the coast of north-west England.

While fishing, Craig Whalley found a massive shoal of herring being chased by numerous sharks on Saturday 22 September 2018.

He achieved the unique camera angle by fixing his GoPro to a weighted fishing line and dropping it into the waters.

Taken in Douglas Bay, Isle of Man on Saturday 22 September 2018. I'd taken my motor boat out into Douglas Bay to do a spot of fishing. The fish finder was showing a massive shoal of something. I attached my Gopro to the end of my fishing line and dropped it down to the sea bed (approximately 30m). Upon reviewing the footage, I was amazed to see the massive shoal of herring, as well as numerous sharks following the shoal. The sharks were spurdogs and maybe tope. I uploaded the clip to my Facebook site on Saturday evening and it has since had £92k views!
