Hundreds of passengers were stranded at the Palma de Mallorca in Spain after bad weather affected flights on September 16.

But the couple made the most of the unfortunate situation and entertained fellow passengers with their dance moves.

They were filmed showing their salsa skills and the electric conveyor belt style walkway - bringing the airport to a standstill as even the staff stopped to watch them.

Onlooker Michelle Danuser who captured the moment said the dancing ''brightened up the atmosphere'' and ''made people smile''.

She added: ''People were very bored while they were waiting for their delays flights and the couple dancing really helped to bring a little bit of cheer.''

Michelle said the couple had been attending workshops on the holiday island before catching a flight back to Switzerland.
