A Chinese baker cut a 1.8m-diameter, 168-kilogram mooncake to share with local citizens in southern China.

The video, filmed in Guangyuan City in Sichuan Province on September 22, shows a baker cutting a giant mooncake for the citizens at a square on the first Zhongzi Mooncake Cultural Festival.

According to local reports, the mooncake was made by 23 workers in one day and one night and was baked for six hours in low temperature.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a harvest festival celebrated on 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar.

On that day, people traditionally eat the mooncakes and enjoy the full moon at night.
