This unusual video shows the moment hundred of mackerel were stranded on a British beach.

The fish, many of which were too small to be eaten, were stuck in a receding pool that was draining by the minute. As the tide went out the confused fish, which some speculated had been chased in by dolphins, were left high and dry in St Ives harbour, in Cornwall.
