Footage showing the unique friendship between a 10-year-old boy and a poisonous snake in Chhatarpur, in the northern Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

The boy, whose name is Deevesh, allegedly spends most of his waking moments with the creature, apparently treating the cobra like one of his toys.

Deevesh's father who is a snake charmer by profession said that the snake has become the part Deevesh's lifestyle. He eats, plays and sleeps with it.

The child has acquired a degree of local celebrity as a result.

In a bizarre incident, a unique friendship of 10-yr-old boy with a poisonous snake was spotted in Chhatarpur.
The 10-yr-old boy, Deevesh, a student of class V, stays with his family in slum area of Chhatarpur's Isha Nagar.
He used to plays with a cobra in such a way that he is playing with a toy.

His father further said that initially he was afraid to see his child with a poisonous snake, but gradually his fear became distant.
Devesh's father Explains that at the age of 3 he was on a charming snake, he used to catch a snake from the forest and then play with them, when his father rebuked him, he would leave in the forest. Obviously a 10-year-old child named Debesh is no less than a Celebrity himself, and now people & locals are saying look this is snake boy.
