The Super Typhoon Mangkhut (T10) that swept through Hong Kong on Sun 16 September 2018 caused considerable damage to the city, including the Hung Hom and Whampoa areas (of Kowloon, Hong Kong).

The winds were so severe that they managed to blow down many trees and cause considerable damage to buildings and property, as well as blockage of roads and walkways.

This video of Hung Hom and Whampoa was taken the morning after the typhoon hit; Mon 17 September 2018 between 7-10am.

As a resident of Harbour Place (also in Hung Hom), I decided to take my camera and go out to film the aftermath of damage. Other than severe damage to The Harbourfront Landmark building (note: I made a separate video for that), everything you see in this video was my own typhoon aftermath experience of Hung Hom and Whampoa.
