Sacha the hedgehog eating pumpkin seeds just before she should begin hibernating in 2018
this rescued hedgehog is blind, so i foster her as she is often out in daylight and her reaction times are not as good , so she is safer in my garden where I can keep an eye on her. I weighed her on 30th September 2018 , she weighs 895g which is great as she needs to be over 600g to hibernate . I got her in March 2017 ... i had her predecessor here for 5 years. It is quite a lot of work looking after her but it is great too as visitors to my garden can often see a hedgehog for the first time - and learn how to care for her too
