Real-life Dumbo scares off dogs in Gabon, Africa
An adolescent elephant chased after a group of dogs in Gabon, central Africa after they startled it, causing dog and man alike to scatter in its path.
The filmer who caught this on video, Yves Soumbou, 25, and several friends were visiting plantations on April 12 near Louango National Park in central Gabon, when their dogs flushed out the spirited elephant.
The four men present and their dogs were forced to flee across a log that spanned a nearby ditch, preventing the elephant from pursuing further.
"We had visited our plantations and cut firewood when suddenly our dogs fell on this elephant," said Soumbou.
