Beijing's Great Wall flooded with tourists on National Day
Tens of thousands of tourists flocked to the Great Wall of China in the country's capital on National Day.
This video, filmed on October 1, shows the movement of the crowd slowing to a crawl at the famous capital site.
According to local media, 37,000 tourists were said to have been at the Great Wall that day, a 39.6% increase compared to previous years. Authorities estimate that the attraction will see even larger crowds in the later half of the week's celebrations, during which locals mark the country's birth.
