Cyclists ride along a dusty road in eastern Australia alongside a couple of small kangaroos to their left.

Suddenly, a much larger creature lunges at the filmer from the right, throwing itself at the cyclist.

"Normally we see the kangaroos but never really come into close contact," they said. "This last ride saw two kangaroos panic and turn to change direction, with one launching and landing on my front wheel."

Neither the kangaroo nor the rider was injured.

Both the kangaroo and rider were unhurt.
