Giant sandal is suspended over Liverpool dock for festival
A giant sandal appeared at a Liverpool dock this morning (October 3) to the astonishment of passersby.
The footage, which was shot in Canning Docks by a council worker for the city of Liverpool, shows the sandal above a small boat which is linked to the whole story in which revellers can follow. The reveal of the giant footwear signifies the start of the Giant Spectacular event around the city this coming weekend.
The city-wide event is being organised by Royal de Luxe, one of the world’s leading street theatre companies, and will start with a giant baby boy waking up on Thursday and parading around the city and the Wirral.
