Hong Kong Chief Executive bans E-Cigarettes

Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Carrie Lam, discusses announcements from her annual policy address at the government offices in Tamar Hong Kong.
She announced the complete ban on e-cigarettes and other new tobacco products is an unexpected U-turn by the government. The restriction of sales to minors had been expected.
Despite having over 3000 attempts to lobby the government made by the tobacco industry, Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor  said the evidence was there to support the ban in the interests of health.
The ban will cover electronic cigarettes as well as other new tobacco alternatives such as heat-not-burn products and herbal cigarettes.
The fine details of the ban will be announced when all loopholes are secured.
