Rafael Nadal was spotted assisting in the clean-up operation following deadly flash flooding in his native Majorca.

Footage captured on October 11 shows the tennis star walking in the streets of Sant Llorenç after clearing mud from the roads with a broom.

Nadal, who was born and raised in the nearby Manacor, owns a tennis academy in the town which he has opened up to victims of the disaster.

"My most sincere condolences to the families of the passed and those hurt by the severe floods in San Llorenç,’’ Nadal wrote on Twitter. ”As we did yesterday (Tuesday), we're again offering the facilities of the Rafa Nadal Academy for all those affected if they need housing."

At least 10 people, including two Britons, have died in the floods and another three are still missing.
