Doctors were shocked to find a blood-sucking creature lodged in a man's nose in Vietnam.

Footage captured in a clinic in Dien Bien Phu city on July 5 shows how the writing insect was captured on an endoscope deep inside the man's nostril.

Dr Tuan manages to remove the creepy-crawly and presents it to the camera – it has a strange, wide head.

The patient, who lives in the mountains, reported pain and had a bleeding nose when he arrived at the clinic.

The doctor told the man to avoid drinking water from streams as they are liable to harbour parasites.

According to the doctor, Mr Tuan said that The man came to the clinic in a state of nose bleeding. The man said that he had pain in his nose and felt like there was something in his nose. After checking the doctor unexpectedly discovered two strange creatures are sucking blood in the nose of the man. Everyone was surprised to see them.The man said that he lived in the mountains where there are many jungles and insects.
The doctor removed two strange creatures from the man's nose. The doctor said that if he came late these creatures could reproduce and destroy the man's nose. A man's nose is injured after being attacked by two strange creatures and sucking blood. It would take a few days to heal the wound.
Doctors advised the man should drink boiled water and avoid drinking water from stream
