Huge python found in woman's spare room
Stomach-churning footage shows an enormous python wriggling around after a grandmother found it at the back of her house.
The 64-year-old pensioner noticed the shiny serpent slithering under a discarded wooden bed in the spare room at her house in Hat Yai, southern Thailand, on October 6.
Daeng Pattaraporn called the emergency services who arrived and dragged the 12ft long reptile into the street in front of astonished neighbours.
Relieved Daeng said: ''The snake looked comfortable. I think it had been there sleeping for two or three days. I'm glad I noticed it. Or it might have attacked me at night time while I was sleeping.
''I was cleaning the toilet when I looked in the spare room we use for storage. That's when I saw the snake and ran outside to call for help.''
Rescue workers caught the python and stuffed it into a canvas bag before it was driven away into the wilderness to be released into the jungle, in search of its next meal.
