Honduran migrants enter and pass through Mexico on Sunday (October 21) as part of the ''caravan'' of people heading for the US border.

The thousands-strong group of all ages, including women and children, are fleeing crime, poverty and corruption in their home country, according to various interviews from their journey.

After a few days of being stranded over the bridge that unites the border of Guatemala and Mexico, the Hondurans that make up the migrant caravan decided to cross illegally the Suchiate river with rafts into México, where they reunited in Hidalgo City and are now walking in the highway that leads to Chiapas main city, Tapachula. The caravan, which now numbers in over 5,000 people, is heading towards the United States.
