Oktoberfest celebrations turned sour in Finsbury Park on Saturday (October 20) when a large fight broke out in the middle of the beer tent.

Event security scrambled frantically to diffuse the situation but the men involved in the brawl continued to throw punches and at least one glass.

The altercation escalated when benches were knocked over and then used as weapons by some of the fighters.

The filmer said: "Not sure how it all started, but there was a lot of people throwing beer in the crowd just before the incident. So I feel it was likely that someone threw beer on the wrong person"

They later added: "The guy who gets hit with the glass at first was sat with the medic team afterwards covered in blood (and beer)"

Large fight broke out at Finsbury Park Oktoberfest. Smashing glasses, throwing benches, punching security guards
