Soldiers battle to save their jeep after they careered off the road and planted it in a sewage filled ditch.
The squaddies were travelling in the military vehicle when they lost control going round a bend on a steep hill in Misamis Oriental, the Philippines on September 30.
The group plunged bumper-first into the filthy water, then had to spend the next few hours trying to free the car before lifting equipment arrived.
Onlooker Jay Calinga said: "No one looks seriously hurt, but the jeep may need to be fixed once they pull it out of the water.''
