Over two prvious weeks or so this lovely, big, stray Tom Cat had been roaming around the neighbourhood. At night it would, about once every hour, walk underneath Lou's house ..meowing & wailing very loudly.

During the day we feared that it might attack Lily and Hunter.

So the night before last I put the cage out the front of the house with some "bait" in it..... attached string to the open door and sat quietly behind the fence. Within 10 mins I caught a cat... but the wrong one !! it went wild in the cage... I let it go.

20 mins later ..... Big Tom came a howling !! Gotta say it was exciting and a bit scary... he is quite a big 'un.

He gingerly entered the cage and SLAM .. !!! the door closed. lol

To be honest he was quite calm... seemed to accept his fate. No collar on him... but may be chipped.

Gave him food and water. Yesterday drove him to the animal rescue centre and handed him over. Hope he finds his home .. or a nice new one.
