A lightning-fast leopard was seen hunting down a baby duiker antelope in Sabie Sands Park in South Africa, taking it down in a flurry of motion.

In exclusive footage, Louis van Wyk managed to capture the moments leading up to and including the takedown of a baby duiker – a type of small antelope – that was hiding in the grey scrub.

The leopard, showing immense speed and agility, initially stalked its prey but only needed a few seconds once the full attack was launched, taking down the little deer right in front of the camera.

On the first day of our Sabie Sands trip we came across the beautiful leopard stalking a baby duiker hiding in the grey grass. Within seconds the hunt was on and the leopard caught it.
