A driver had to take evasive action after a truck in truck in front clipped an overhead motorway sign - sending metal falling onto the road.

Motorist Chi Yeh was travelling along the Zhongshan highway in Taiwan on October 27 when the bungling trucker didn't realise how high their cargo was.

It clipped the steel frame below the green sign sending debris in front of cars behind.

Chi had to swerve out of the way onto the hard shoulder, while the driver that caused the damaged carried on with their journey.

Chi said: ''It scared me so much I almost wet myself. The truck crashed straight into the frame. I don't know how they didn't predict that there was not enough space for them.''
