STOCKHOLM, March 19 - Zlatan Ibrahimovic trained in a balaclava in Stockholm today amid concerns that Sweden's match against Ireland on Friday would be marred by cold weather if the roof of the Friends Arena is opened.

Ibra's Sweden are due to face Ireland in a crucial World Cup qualifier on Friday March 22.

The Swedes would like to keep the roof at the Friends Arena closed, but Ireland coach Giovanni Trappatoni told reporters in Dublin on Monday thatid that he would prefer it open.

With kickoff in the Group C World Cup qualifier at 2045, temperatures are expected to drop to as low as minus ten on Friday evening.

Sweden midfielder Sebastian Larsson says he's not bothered either way as players will keep warm by running around, and Celtic full back Mikael Lustig said he wasn't surprised that the Irish wanted to see the roof remain open.

Team manager Lars Richt said that the deicision ultimately rests with the FIFA commissioner, and that it would be taken at a meeting due to take place at 1030 on the morning of the game.
