++CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN EDITED++ This mother tricked her daughter into believing that she had eaten all of her Halloween candy, and her reaction wasn't quite what was expected.

"Last night, Mommy was super, super hungry, and she ate all your Halloween candy," she said. "I'm sorry."

"It's ok!" Her daughter responds, later adding that it's alright because we all get hungry, and that candy can be shared.

Many parents have taken to playing this prank on their kids in response to an annual post-Halloween segment on Jimmy Kimmel, in which the talk show airs funny videos of children's reactions to being told that all their Halloween candy is gone.
