A car driver came in front of an anti-landmine truck after trying to overtake it from the wrong side.

Though the truck pushed along the car for some distance, the driver, his wife and child escaped unhurt.

The incident occurred in the Kanker town of Chattisgarh, India, on October 18.

The local police were conducting a flag march to highlight the security arrangement for the state elections, which is scheduled this month.

Attempting to overtake from the wrong direction, the car collided with the anti-landmine truck, which was leading the flag march.

The car spun out of control and came right in front of the truck.

Though the car driver signalled frantically, the truck pushed the car for some distance before coming to a halt.

A local police officer said: “The truck was leading a match of 600 policemen. It could not have stopped immediately after the collision.”
