Hot air balloon pilot causes wildebeest herd to stampede
A reckless hot air balloon pilot has been filmed passing directly over a giant herd of wildebeest, causing them to stampede.
The footage was filmed in the Maasai Mara, Kenya back in August.
When the pilot fires up the burner, the antelopes take fright and begin to stampede beneath the delighted tourists.
Although none of the animals came to any harm, the pilot's actions appear to disturb wild animals unnecessarily.
Wildebeests, also called gnus, belong to the family Bovidae, which includes antelopes, cattle, goats, sheep, and other even-toed horned ungulates
