A police officer whose leg was broken by a racist thug hit out at the soft sentence handed down by a judge.
Pc Safia Finlow, 32, suffered a fractured left leg when vile Daniel Forsythe assaulted her and a male colleague as they arrested him for breaking a court order.
The 32 year-old brute also hurled racist abuse at the female officer, assuming she was of Pakistani origin.
He admitted the racist attack and beating Pc Stuart Douglas but was jailed for just two years and five months.
Judge Geoffrey Mercer, QC, told him that one year of the sentence was for his racial outburst.
