Crowds gathered outside Ripon Cathedral in North Yorkshire in the UK on Saturday evening to watch a stunning tribute to the fallen, projected onto the gothic front of the building.

The beautiful animation included photographs and names of some of those who lost their lives in both world wars.

The projection has been running for several nights leading up to Armistice Day 2018 (November 11).

The display which has been on display at Ripon Cathedral for the last few nights & leading up to Armistice Day 2018 has been projected onto the face of the Cathedral building, while rest of the Cathedral is lit up in red to mark armistice day. The projection shows photos and names of those who sadly lost their lives during both world wars along with a other animations of poppies and soldier silhouette figures.
