Shwedagon Pagoda is maybe the world's oldest
The Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, Myanmar is said to be over 2,600 years old. It's a complex of buddhist shrines and a place of active worship.
Myanmar tourism is stagnant,with 960,720 visitors in the first nine months of 2018, an increase of 0.65% on the 2017 figure. A serious decline in most nationalities, notable exceptions being Thais and Chinese,the latter accounting for over 20% of arrivals. (Source:Ministry of Hotels and Tourism). The figures include day trippers from bordering countries and therefore are subject to interpretation.
