In preparation for their cruise on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship 'Ovation of the Seas' this father from Australia made his very own 'Northstar'. His children were a bit nervous about going on the real thing and wanted a practice go first so Jacob Strickling thought it would be a fun idea to make one first.
The 'Northstar' is a viewing platform on the ship which holds 14 passengers and rises 300 feet above the water, providing the passengers of an awesome view of the surroundings.
Jacob Strickling is the creator behind the YouTube Channel 'Make Science Fun' and is well known for building fun and crazy contraptions to entertain his children, Mikalah (age 12) and Samuel (age 9).
