Firefighters are tackling a huge fire that broke out at a warehouse in Greater Manchester, understood to contain asbestos.

Footage shows flames engulfing the building at the Worsley Trading Estate in Little Hulton.

"I was staying over for the night at my parent's with my 10-month-old son. I was woken up by the noise and I was worried that if the wind changed direction it would blow onto the houses and we would have to be evacuated. I'm glad nobody was injured,'' said the filmer.

Greater Manchester Fire said the fire has been brought under control but still urge residents to keep doors and windows shut amid asbestos fear.

Fire started shortly after midnight. I called the emergency services at 12:23am they said they were aware of the fire. Services advised residents to keep doors and windows shut as there was asbestos in the air
