I live in a crescent where there is one way in and the same way out, residents that don’t live in Hathaway Crescent, but those who lives in Shakespeare crescent tend to like dumping large items of rubbish here basically fly tipping literally on their doorstep instead of paying for bulky rubbish collecting, sometimes it’s bags of rubbish and sometimes building materials or unwanted furniture. This is on a daily occurrence and the resident have been asking newham council for years to remove the bin and place it somewhere else on Shakespeare crescent, but again nothing is done. We’ve been even asking for a permanent cctv camera to be place there and in and around Hathaway crescent to prevent rubbish dumping and crime, but newham refuses.
