This was the first Electric Skateboard World Cup to be held at purpose-built professional race tracks. The all-terrain track was set at an Olympic BMX track at Churla Vista Elite Athlete Training Centre and Day 2 was the street course held at K1 Speed in Carlsbad just outside San Diego.

Over 70 riders from 30 countries battled it out hitting speeds up to 28 Mph. The 'Evolve Skateboards have a 30-mile range but when your racing the boards get charged in between races to ensure maximum speeds are met.

Electric skateboarding is now arguably the fastest growing board sport on the planet with social media fuelling this new way to get about.

No traffic. No noise. No tailpipe emissions. No sweat and No traffic!
