A brave shark boat worker saved a baby seal from death by the propeller of his boat and returned it safely to its mother.

The clip, filmed this morning (November 20), shows the seal being picked up by Richard Theron, a crew member who then tossed it back into the sea to find its mum again.

The incident took place near Seal Island in Mossel Bay, South Africa, and you can hear the crew on the boat cheering as the baby is reunited with its family after the ordeal.
