Contrary to her name, Sunshine the puppy adores playing in the snow and catching snowballs – but she certainly keeps her owner happy when skies are grey.

The three-year-old yellow labrador retriever has fun in the summer months, but seems to love winter at least equally.

"In the winter months, she absolutely LOVES playing in the snow and catching snowballs in the air," said her owner. "My office let us go home early due to a big snow storm. I was so excited because I love playing with Sunshine in the snow."

Sunshine is also a registered service dog, she said.

Sunshine loves warm weather and sunshine (like her name) and going for long walks in the park in the summer. In the winter months, she absolutely LOVES playing in the snow and catching snowballs in the air. I tweeted #SnowDay since my office let us go home early due to a big snow storm. I was so excited because I love playing with Sunshine in the snow. I always take pics and video of her/us and love to take slo-mo video of her catching snowballs.

Sunshine is a wonderful therapy dog and is also registered as a service dog. She loves our kitty Hemi and they snuggle together all of the time. All of our family and friends love Sunshine so much and know that she is a precious puppy!!
