This arctic fox was spotted having some fun in the snow near Churchill town in northern Canada.

Footage captured on November 16 shows the small canid rolling around in the snow for a while before trotting off.

''In guiding an expedition in Canada's arctic, we came upon this playful arctic fox, rolling around and basically bathing in the snow,'' writes the filmer.

''On this day it was quite cold which is great for arctic foxes, as they are amazingly well-adapted to the frigid cold of the north.''

While some populations of arctic foxes are considered endangered, these animals are still numerous in Churchill with thousands of visitors flocking to the town each year to view the beautiful creatures.

This takes place in Manitoba's city of Churchill, just on the edge of the Hudson Bay. On this day in particular it was quite cold (around -10 to -20F with -30F wind chill), which is great for arctic foxes, as they are amazingly well-adapted to the frigid cold of the north. After it rolled around for a little while it trotted off into the distance.
