A fight erupted outside a store on a busy street in Birmingham city centre last night (November 22) prior to Black Friday.

Footage, captured in Corporation Street, shows the moment a violent bust-up breaks out between four individuals hitting each other on the ground.

Some passers-by can be seen surrounding the people on the ground as others interfere to stop the fight.

“I arrived at the Corporation Street bus stop where an altercation was taking place. The next thing I knew an all-out brawl started to take place between four individuals,'' writes the filmer.

''The fighting stopped and started as the people involved caught their breath. It looked like at one point it would escalate more as chairs were picked up from the nearby begets shops.

‘’It soon settles down when the fighter fled after hearing police sirens. One of them even tried to grab my phone.''

''I spoke to West Midlands Police (WMP) who said they had seen it on CCTV but were dealing with an incident in New Town which is why it took them a little while to arrive. They then began a search to apprehend the suspects.’’
